Scheduling

The LAN Bridge is capable of performing advanced scheduling functionality thanks to its on-board real time clock.

Schedules can be configured to run in 5 ways:

Each schedule can be configured to run a macro or perform a single CFLink command.

Once Off

A schedule can be configured to run just once, triggering a macro or command to run at a particular date and time in the future.
A 'Once Off' schedule can also be set to repeat at a customisable rate until a specific time.
The 'Expire' property has no use for Once Off schedules.

Daily

A 'Daily' schedule starts at a specific date and time, and can be configured to recur at any interval of days.
A 'Daily' schedule can also be set to repeat at a customisable rate until a specific time on the day it is triggered.
The 'Expire' property can be used to make the schedule inactive once a certain date and time is reached.

Examples

To run every day, the schedule would be configured to recur 'every 1 day(s)'. The recur days can be any number above 0.

Weekly

A 'Weekly' schedule starts at a specific date and time, and can be configured to recur at any interval of weeks, on specific days of the week.
A 'Weekly' schedule can also be set to repeat at a customisable rate until a specific time on each day it is triggered.
The 'Expire' property can be used to make the schedule inactive once a certain date and time is reached.

Examples

To run every fortnight on a weekends, the schedule would be configured to recur 'every 2 week(s)' with 'Saturday' and 'Sunday' selected.

To run every Tuesday, the schedule would be configured to recur 'every 1 week(s)' with 'Tuesday' selected.

Monthly

A 'Monthly' schedule starts at a specific date and time, and can be configured to run on either specific day numbers or on Nth days of selected months.
A 'Monthly' schedule can also be set to repeat at a customisable rate until a specific time on each day it is triggered.
The 'Expire' property can be used to make the schedule inactive once a certain date and time is reached.

Examples

To run the first day of every second month, the schedule would be configured to 'Days' mode and have the number '1' ticked, as well as every second month ticked (JAN, MAR, MAY, JUL, SEP, NOV).

To run the first Monday of every month, the schedule would be configured to 'On' mode and have 'First' and 'Monday' ticked with each month selected.

Holiday

A 'Holiday' schedule starts at a specific date and time, and stops on a specific time each day, until the 'Expire' date and time is reached.
Macros triggered by Holiday schedules will trigger their actions at random times between the start and stop time of the schedule, with each action only being repeated as many times as defined in the macro properties.
Single commands triggered by holiday macros will randomly repeat for the duration of the schedule start and stop times.
