Case Study Guidelines

We are always looking for case studies to publicize on our website and social media channels.

If you used a CommandFusion product recently, then we want to hear from you!

There are two types of case studies we can post (both a elegible for the incentive):

1. case studies hosted entirely on our website
2. links to case studies on external websites

If you submit a case study to us and we post it on our site - you will receive a free iViewer licence on your account.
If the case study is of exceptional quality then you may receive additional licences and/or store credit! (Valid case studies determined by CommandFusion staff)

The following types of information would go a long way towards getting you additional incentives:

• Well written and in English that requires little or no editing by our team. It should also follow the criteria set out in this document.
• Provide a video showing off the installation. It doesn't have to be edited perfectly or contain special effects, but it does need to clearly show the installation and how CommandFusion products play a part in the system.
• Provide photos that show off your installation, including how CommandFusion products play a part in the system.
• Provide a system schematic.
• Any other information that helps any users reading the case study understand what you did, and how you did it.

Please note that additional incentives are given entirely at the discretion of CommandFusion Staff. It should also be noted that not all case studies submitted will necessarily be posted on our website.

In order for us to post and share your case study, you should meet the criteria below:

• The project must utilise a CommandFusion product (hardware and/or software) as a major part of the system
• The finished result must be of high quality - the whole purpose is to show of your business/personal skills, and our products.

Please note that unique uses of our products will be given special attention and publicity - think outside the box!

Case studies of exceptional quality may be offered to other online publications to share (with your permission of course)

For case studies hosted on our website (written up in this wiki), you should do your best to provide the information asked for in Case Study Criteria Section. It isn't essential, but it will more likely result in you receiving additional incentives.

For case studies hosted externally, you should still adhere to the guidelines below as much as possible, but it isn't as critical. Case studies that do follow our guidelines are more likely to get publicity/exposure through our website and social media channels.

In return for you helping us showcase our products, accepted case studies will receive the following:

• Case Study will be publically posted on our website
• We will include a link to your website, business names and other information to give you full credit
• We will usually post links to case studies on social media channels
• Occasionally we may choose to share your case study with other online publications, giving you even more publicity

In order to keep the case studies in a consistent format, please submit your case studies to casestudies@commandfusion.com as per the following:

Word counts aren't overly important. If you don't want to write up the case study yourself, then bullet points are fine, we can work with that. Please note however that this will result in a longer amount of time until it is published.

All submissions should be in English.
The case study should be 600-1200 words, and aimed at informing professionals of the technology and practicalities involved in the installation, focusing on CommandFusion products where possible.

Title

Introduction (100 -­ 200 words)

• who commissioned what, what was the project, where is it located, when did it occur.
• what was the brief/aim.

Planning and design (100 -­ 200 words)

• personnel and practical considerations involved in the planning process.
• any tools/specialists used for planning.
• what solution did you provide to meet the brief.

Installation (200 ‐ 400 words)

• how was the installation done, what were the procedures.
• personnel/equipment involved.
• costs/time involved.
• what challenges were encountered and overcome.

Experience from the project (100 -­ 200 words)

• what have you learnt from this project.
• any additions/changes made since.
• any ongoing issues.

Conclusion (100 -­ 200 words)

• benefits of the installation to the client.
• how is the installation being received, how is it being used in practice.

Equipment list

• a list of products used in the installation.

• please provide pictures in jpg or png format
• captions to go with pictures
• Before and after pictures are preferred, but not required

Please provide a video if you can, this will generate additional interest in your case study and business.

• Uploaded to Youtube - any length, in landscape format (not holding your phone upright in portrait mode if thats what you are using to film the video!)

• please provide author's name, job title, company name, one-­line description of company and web address.
• head and shoulders image of author in jpg of png format (optional)
• Any other information you would like included (at our discretion)
