CommandFusion has just released their companion software for allowing control of Winamp via their CF iViewer application for the iPhone or iPod Touch.

The Windows application, and its full source code, can be downloaded from the CommandFusion website downloads page (www.commandfusion.com/downloads). A User Guide PDF for detailed instructions on how to install, configure and use the software is also available from the downloads page.

The source code (VB.NET - Visual Studio 2005) is available for free download. The code demonstrates how to enable control of any software running on Windows using the CF iViewer iPhone application. The code can also be used as a basis for using the iViewer protocol on MacOS and Linux - allowing developers to easily enable full control of their software/hardware via the iPhone using the CommandFusion iViewer application.

The CommandFusion guiDesigner software enables developers to create custom GUI’s for the iViewer iPhone application, effectively allowing software and hardware developers to integrate the iViewer protocol into their products and generate a custom user interface for controlling their products via the iPhone. The guiDesigner can also be used to customize the WinampController interface, allowing users to fully customize the way they control Winamp.
